FOR THE EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP TEAM
Strengthening Team Foundations
Greater than the sum of their parts.
A program for CEOs who want to uplift their Executive Leadership Team’s collective capability, performance and impact. Built on practical experience, not generic theory - the foundational work that turns a capable group of leaders into a high-performing team.
WHO THIS IS FOR
CEOs investing in their Executive Leadership Team’s collective capability - not because the team is broken, but because it has potential that hasn’t yet been deliberately shaped.
When this makes sense:
A CEO who sees their ELT’s potential and knows they’re not yet consistently performing as one cohesive team.
A CEO leading through significant change, wanting to solidify the team’s collective capability to play their part.
A newly formed or recently restructured ELT that needs to understand each other to collaborate and lead.
A CEO who’s tried surface-level team building and knows they need to go deeper.
THE REALITY
The starting point isn’t deficit.
Most teams I work with aren’t broken. They’re capable leaders who haven’t yet been deliberately shaped into something greater than the sum of their parts.
There are usually niggles to work through, unspoken tensions and interpersonal dynamics to unpack, and communication patterns to align on. We’ll do that work too - it’s part of building a team that can hold complexity together.
But the starting point isn’t deficit. It’s potential.
The work is about creating the conditions for that potential to show up consistently and reliably - under pressure, over time.
HOW WE WORK TOGETHER
Connection and diagnosis, in one phase.
This phase is as much about building connection as diagnosing. It’s how I get to know each leader, how they get to know me, and how we build the rapport that makes the deeper work genuinely effective. It’s also a complete diagnostic in its own right - giving the CEO and team deep insight into how they work, where their collective strengths lie, and how they can grow together.
Step 1
Discovery interviews
With the CEO and every member of the Executive Leadership Team.
Step 2
Individual Hogan debriefs
A personality profile debrief with each team member.
Step 3
Half-day team Hogan debrief workshop
Creating space for insights across the team that directly translate into how the team leads together.
Step 4
CEO debrief session
Sharing insights, development opportunities for the team, and recommendations for how to continue the work ‘on’ the team - whether we continue into deepr team work together, or you take the insights forward yourself.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
What you walk away with.
Clarity on collective strengths and potential performance derailers.
A clear view of where the team is now, and what’s needed next.
Shared language for how the team works, communicates, makes decisions and handles pressure.
A foundation for sustained, deliberate leadership development, performance and impact.
Deeper understanding between team members - what motivates them, what challenges them, and where they complement each other.
In their words
-
"We really needed a nimble, strategically focused team to stay responsive to the changing needs of the organisation. Louise listened, grasped things very quickly, and had a great balance of critical thinking and practical action. We’ve now got a leadership framework for how we work in a rapidly evolving environment - balancing technical and adaptive needs. Louise is not only extremely knowledgeable, she's also fun to work with and you get practical outcomes that work."
